The Role:
In this role, you will be the face and voice of the business. You won’t just be managing communications; you’ll be building trusted relationships that span government, community, and industry. Whether you’re organising high-stakes site visits for ministers or managing social investment portfolios that drive genuine local impact, your work will directly influence our reputation and social license to operate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Driving Strategy: Plan and execute comprehensive stakeholder and communication programs.
  • Building Connections: Cultivate authentic relationships with key influences, community leaders, and government officials across the Gulf region and the NT.
  • Storytelling: Develop compelling briefings and presentations that highlight our economic and social contribution.
  • Leading Events: Spearhead a calendar of community and site-led events that strengthen our local footprint.
  • Owning the Portfolio: Manage our social investment strategy, ensuring it aligns with community needs and global vision.

The Logistics:
  • Lifestyle: Flexible roster options (5 days/2 Rest or 4 Days/3 Rest).
  • Operations: FIFO to Site (Mon - Thur every week).
  • Base: Darwin-based (relocation support available for the right candidate).
  • Package: Competitive salary (base) + roster allowance + location allowance + 13% Super.
